History of Computing

I’m a big fan of the history of computing and of retrocomputing.

I frequent the amazing Computer History Museum in Mountain View, and so should you.

On my desk at work I have an Apple //e (with an Uthernet Ethernet card!), an Apple Newton, a Sinclair ZX80, and an Atari 2600. I’m in the process of developing various programs for each of those prehistoric platforms just for fun, and to illustrate to today’s students what programming used to be like. Yes, I know that makes me sound like an old fart.

Watch this space for my “retrocomputing” presentations.
