June 13 (Friday) is the deadline to order laptops via the this year's Departmental Purchase Program.

There are 5 laptop choices, two Mac (13“ and 15” MacBook Pro w/ Retina Display) and three Lenovo (14“ T440S, the X1, and the Yoga) - specs can be found at the Laptop Ordering Page - but read on before trying to fill out the order form yourself:

If you want to order one, figure out who's paying for it - is your advisor/sponsor paying for it (and has agreed to do so) or are you buying it with personal funds - and read on.

If you are paying with personal funds, go directly to the Laptop Ordering Page, make your selection(s) and check the box for “I will pay for my order with a personal check.” Once you do that, leave your name in the “Self-ordered” section.

If your advisor(s)/sponsor(s)/other Campus funding source has agreed to pay for your laptop order(s), please indicate your choice(s) below - We will get funding info from your advisor(s)/sponsor(s)' RSO(s)/GA(s) to place the order.

If you already have funding info (a Campus COA number), you can go ahead directly to Laptop Ordering Page and fill in the “Chartfield String” fields (don't check the personal check box). Leave your name below in the “To Be Ordered” Section and note that you submitted the order already.
